ACCESS TO THE ARTS FOR ALL
José Mateo Ballet Theatre believes that ballet should be accessible and enjoyed by people of all racial, cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. As part of our Dance for the CommonWealth’s Concerts for Young Audiences program, JMBT proudly offers 1,500+ school children the opportunity to attend school-time performances of The Nutcracker, at dramatically-reduced prices in order to cultivate an appreciation for dance and the performing arts in youth throughout the greater Boston area.
