Gloria was born in Graz, Austria and trained at the Vienna State Opera Ballet School and English National Ballet School in London. Upon graduation she danced with Meininger Ballet and Ballet Theatre Frankfurt in Germany, and Independent Ballet Wales in the UK. She was also a founding member of DanceCyprus, the first national dance company of Cyprus. Additionally she contributes reviews for Dance Europe and is earning her undergraduate degree at Harvard University’s School for Continuing Education. She presented her own choreographies at Harvard University’s dance festival as part of “Arts First” in 2008 and 2009 and at the “Dance for World Community Festival” in June 2009. Gloria joined José Mateo Ballet Theatre in 2007.
