Joanna Binney

Joanna is originally from Seattle, Washington, where she trained in both the preparatory and college divisions at Cornish College of the Arts. She danced with the Richmond Ballet in Virginia before joining the Harvard class of 2008, graduating magna cum laude with a BA in Biology and a Secondary concentration in the Dramatic Arts. While pursuing her degree, she performed with the Harvard Ballet Company and the Harvard Contemporary Dance Ensemble. She has been a company member with José Mateo Ballet Theatre since 2008.
