"TALK ABOUT DANCE!" Expanding the role of dance in community: Partnership, Leadership, Outreach, and Education
Sunday, June 13, 2010, 2:00-6:00pm
If you agree that dance has vastly underutilized potential as a powerful force that can shape communities, then join in this first of a series of open discussions, "Talk about Dance," a program of Dance for World Community
Barbara Schaffer Bacon, co-director of Animating Democracy, a program of Americans for the Arts, will kick off an afternoon of learning, conversation and social interaction - all around dance and the expanded role it can play in galvanizing our communities to meet the civic, social and environmental challenges we all face today.
