TO JMBT’S EXTENDED COMMUNITY
IN THE WAKE OF THE COVID-19 OUTBREAK:
We send our best wishes to you and your friends and families and thank you for your support and understanding during these difficult times.
Our commitment to the health and welfare of our community is a responsibility that continues to guide our actions, more so in this time of growing uncertainty.
In keeping with the increasingly wide practice in the Greater Boston community to cancel or re-schedule large gatherings, all March and April events at JMBT (including the DANCE SATURDAYS events) are cancelled or postponed.
As you are aware, as of Saturday March 14, we suspended all classes in order to help prevent the spread of the Coronavirus. We write to update you that, in keeping with Governor Baker’s state of emergency declaration, as well as the decisions of district schools, we will not be opening before April 27. There will be no classes held Saturday, March 14 – Sunday, April 26. During that period, the decision will be revisited to determine whether classes will resume Monday, April 27 or if the closure will have to be extended.
Our offices will be closed for this period. We will advise you of any changes to this plan.
On behalf of all of our teachers and staff, we share our deepest hopes that you and your family remain safe and we look forward to dancing with you again.
