Current JMBT students (enrolled in the Winter/Spring 2021 Young Dancers Program) do not need to audition for Ballet Level II, but must request and receive permission from Gabrielle Domb (gdomb@ballettheatre.org) before enrolling. All other students must audition for Ballet Level II by submitting an audition video. Students age 8 or older by 9/1/2020 who are not experienced in ballet or do not wish to audition may enroll in Ballet Level I or Boys Ballet Level I/II.
Videos do not need to be professional quality. Please contact us if you require assistance putting together the required exercises.
The video should consist of a tendu exercise at the barre, an adage at the barre, and a tendu/adage exercise in the centre. All exercises should be 32 counts.
Audition videos should be submitted by email to Gabrielle Domb at gdomb@ballettheatre.org.
Financial aid is available.
