2024 Summer Intensive Program Auditions

This year we are excited to offer six in-person auditions, both at our studios in Harvard Square, Cambridge and at other locations across New England.

Students must pre-register for in-person auditions at least 72 hours in advance (except the January 6th JMBT Cambridge audition). Students unable to attend an in-person audition may submit an audition video.

AUDITION PRE-REGISTRATION

To attend an in-person audition, please click below to complete the Audition Pre-Registration Form.

You will be asked to upload two photos (headshot and first arabesque) and submit a $25 audition fee.

Students must pre-register for auditions at least 72 hours in advance.


AUDITION BY VIDEO

If you are unable to attend an in-person audition, you may submit an audition video.

VIDEO REQUIREMENTS

For students ages 10–14
The video should consist of a tendu exercise at the barre, an adage at the barre, and a tendu/adage exercise in the centre. If you have been on pointe for a year or more, please include pointe exercises (they may be at the barre if you are not proficient on pointe in the centre). All exercises should be 32 counts.

For students ages 15–19
The video should consist of an adage at the barre, an adage in the centre, and an allegro combination with turns. If you have been on pointe for a year or more, please include pointe exercises (they may be at the barre if you are not proficient on pointe in the centre). All exercises should be 32 counts.

Videos do not need to be professional quality. Please contact us if you require assistance putting together the required exercises.

In addition to your audition video, you will be asked to upload two photos (headshot and first arabesque) and submit a $25 audition fee.

Auditions will be reviewed on a rolling basis and students can expect a decision within two weeks of submission. Early submissions are encouraged.
