Adult Open Classes

This class is designed for students who have a novice understanding of ballet and/or who have completed the Intro Level II course. The class will cover a full barre and various centre exercises at a medium pace. Dancers can expect to work on building their strength, stamina and musicality in this class with refining their basic positions, vocabulary and mechanics learned in the Intro courses.

This class is most suitable for dancers who have become proficient in the Elementary level class. For the experienced dancer, this class is taught at a faster pace with the expectation that the dancer knows a wide variety of ballet steps put together in more complex combinations. Barre and centre work include exercises that will work the mind and the body to further develop strength, flexibility, stamina, and musicality.

This class is the most advanced class offered for very experienced dancers that seek a challenging, fast-paced class taught at a high level. This class’s barre and centre work will encompass a full repertoire of ballet vocabulary and is designed to push the dancer beyond just technique and moves the focus on individual artistry. Dancers are expected to learn and understand complex, dynamic combinations that feature a range of different qualities through the class.
