The Teenager’s Introduction to Ballet course is designed for beginner students ages 11-15. Whether you are curious about dance, always wanted to do a pirouette, or have been advised to take ballet by your coach, this course will guide students through the basic concepts of ballet technique with a mix of barre and centre work. The 10-week course will start at the beginning of ballet, highlighting musical interpretation and expressiveness, unity of line, body connections, spatial awareness, alignment, strength, flexibility and control all in a structured environment with our most experienced faculty.
